Overcome your Fear of Flying
Our Fear of Flying sessions are specifically tailored to help people conquer their phobia of plane travel. The idea came about after Wolfram, our founder, took his wife to see the first iPILOT simulator at Bluewater, who had suffered from anxiety about flying for years, in the hope that showing her how a plane works would help her feel more comfortable when boarding a flight. It worked and now we offer these sessions for anyone who wants to face their fears and gain a greater understanding of how an aeroplane is controlled by seeing first hand all the safety measures and systems that pilots have to keep their passengers safe.
A qualified pilot will accompany you, explaining the procedures involved in flying a plane, make sense of all the noises that a plane makes during flight and explain what happens in emergencies and the systems to prevent collisions. You can even take control of the plane yourself and get a feel for what it’s like to fly and land a commercial airliner. By demystifying the process of commercial flight we hope that we can make you confident enough to just sit back, relax and enjoy your next real flight.
